I am also wondering if with the tv issue today I just need verizon to come out and take a look. I work 24 hrs tomorrow but can teamviewer into the desktop to work on things. I will gladly give any information needed.
Is there something fixable with the routers? I was contemplating taking the asus out totally as I do not run windows media center with extenders anymore.Īny help would be wonderful. We did have one choppy bit of tv for a few minutes today. So, any thoughts on the slow downs, bad streaming, etc?

This allows my xbox one to be viewed by my windows 10 devices anywhere in the world. The last part I know that people will not like is that the local IP of the asus is in the dmz of the actiontec. Name Service Subnet Maskĝynamic IP RangeĚction
Verizon actiontec local IP is 192.168.1.1/ (things are changed since windows 10 can stream anywhere with some finagling.) These are not plugged into the routers directly. I have fans that blow on the routers as they heat up as the weather gets warmer. I was asked to contact them again if the TV had issues. We tried running streaming/the division off the actiontec and there were no issues, although this was a short time. Wired xbox one (other devices are wired or wireless) ->Įarlier in the week I contacted verizon because we have also been having issues with choppy TV. What is the Name of the Anti-Virus, Security or Firewall Software installed from the problematic computer. What is the exact Make and Model of your Modem, Router or Modem/Router What type of Broadband connection are you using? Who is your Internet Service Provider (ISP)? Although we could think this is the game, I think it is my hardware since streaming on other devices is affected. I can do any xbox commands but nothing happens in game at that time. Recently, while playing the division or destiny on my xbox one or streaming on any device I have been getting a lot of freezing - for example when playing division my screen does not move or do anything. I have some prior threads with relevant information in case prior discussions need to be looked at.
